Soalan hari ini lebih kepada english grammar saja.

If you solve this you are a genius. Mr SMITH has 4 daughters, each daugther had a brother... How many children does Mr Smith have? 

Ironinya, soalan ini siap dibahaskan oleh website ini. 

Jawapannya ialah: 0 / Kosong / Zero children .

Kenapa? 

Well it depends. If we assume each daughter has one brother and the daughters are sisters then he would have 5 children 4 daughters and 1 son; believe that the brother is his own son. 

But The clue is picture itself, her daughters are different colors.  Then Mr.Smiths ex s/o had a biological son with another man then he would have only 4 children, 4 daughters. Or if each daughter had a different mother and each mother had their own biological son with another man (not Mr. Smith) then Mr Smith would only have 4 children, 4 daughters. It all depends on the situation except you didn’t state enough information.

But the fact he had 4 daughters is true. Living or dead doesn't matter. that becomes matter when he said, "had" which is past tense. And while the sisters had a brother or does not say anything about the brother being his son. The answer is right there in the riddle.
